I happened to be in the run-up area at HAF yesterday when I noticed movement in my peripheral vision.
His wing actually overlapped mine.
Then I noticed that there were actually three P51Ds and a P40.
These planes were at HAF for Eddie Andreini's funeral, so this was both thrilling and sad at the same time.
Here is a 5 second video clip. Note that the DA40's engine is completely drowned-out by the nearby Merlins.
Only about 1800 HP short.

One of my friends owns a P51 that he restored over a 7 year period. It won Champion Warbird at Oshkosh a few years ago. I have sat in the cockpit numerous times but it is a single seater, so I won't get to fly it...
