FIFI at Salinas

The CAF's B-29 'FIFI' was on display at SNS, so my Dad & I flew down for the day. He was a Navy pilot (TBM) during WWII and loves radials, so my Dad thoroughly enjoyed the glorious sound of four R-3350s.
Nothing quite like 72 cylinders!
FIFI was parked close to the edge of the ramp, so we were less than 50m away during engine-start.
When she taxied-out we were nearly under the port wingtip:

Note that the B-29 uses a castoring nose wheel and differential braking (hence the video's ethereal sounds).
So if anyone makes a snide remark about your nose wheel, remind them that we have illustrious company.
