Anyone with a pair of Bose QC2 or QC15 headsets can turn them into a good aviation set for less dollars than some other headsets. Great for passengers or second set. Microphone has great quality and the headsets are very light and comforable. They do not equal the Bose X or A20's but a good headset better than most others in my experience and others I know that have purchased.
Pros: Great for short hour flights, or in an aircraft in cruise with reduced cabin noise. Small headset easy to fit even in a busy flight bag. Very high quaility microphone can be left or right adjusted.
Cons: Mic plugs in where the headset plug does allowing it to pull out without much effort.
Cost: $225 USD (Microphone and aircraft plugs only: 3 types available inclluding Heli)

If I hadn't left my two last pairs of Bose earphones on commercial flights, I'd be interested in this. I have given up buying them because it's getting rather expensive to replace them.

Re: Headset: UFlyMic (Bose QC2 or QC15 headset)
I have the UFlyMic for my Bose QC2 and agree that it is a good backup or passenger headset. I would not use it for a primary headset on a regular basis. The noise reduction is not as good as a even passive NR on some other aviation headsets, but it works terrific in a pinch.
