Re: G1000 nxi pc trainer
Did they fix the PFD/MFD issue on the Archer where the GFC700 controls appear on the PFD instead of the MFD? It's easy to fix if it hasn't been corrected in the distribution package.
The Cessna has 20.05 and the Archer 20.81. Did Garmin give a reason for their preference between the two for Diamond Aircraft? My observation is the Garmin customer support tends to given an answer for a question they know - which may not necessarily be the same as the question you asked.deeohgee wrote: ↑Wed Jul 07, 2021 7:45 pm When I spoke with Garmin support, they suggested the Cessna NAV III trainer. This was as of Nov 2020.

Re: G1000 nxi pc trainer
You need to edit the pfd_init.xml and mfd_init.xml files which are located in the directory in which the PC trainer was installed. You need to change the line that reads <UnitType type="GDU10xx"/> so that the pdf_init file has "GDU1050" and the mfd_init file has "GDU1054" instead of the other way around.
That should fix it.
