Now that my XPDR has been replaced, I have a Garmin 327 XPDR (with mounting rack) I don't need. This isn't likely to be of any use in any DA40. But for anyone who has an owner-built project underway, or another, older plane that needs a XPDR it could be useful.
This is NOT a device that's of any help as an ADS-B out solution, but Mode C XPDRs remain required equipment even after the 1/1/2020 date.
