I ordered the bronze and they've quoted 4-5 weeks for delivery so Kai must be patient...

Any PIREP’s on either the plastic or metal latches?

I am one of the first metal latch adopters and I love them. Put them in my DA40 (where I assume the current owner is still enjoying them) and it was the first modification I made to the DA42 when it arrived.

I ordered two of the bronzed metal. They installed really easily and fit the same. Don’t know what else I could say except they’re not broken.
Also ordered two of the white plastic as backups that I will probably never need now. Perhaps another Diamond owner with broken latches will wander over to my hangar to inquire about them one day.

Mike,
thanks for the update. Would you mind posting a picture of the bronzed metal latches? I am curious how they turned out

Bronzed sound so nice I might replace mine.
