Re: Repairs
I have owned a DA-20 and now a lycoming DA-40. I can tell you that there are certain parts that are hard to acquire from Diamond.. Depending on what it is, you will definitely run into wait times for certain parts

Re: Repairs
I've had three.
#1. A 2005 model, bought new, a few months later got run into by another plane while tied down at the airport. The other guys insurance bought me a new plane, #2.
#3. In 2008 a bunch of new improvements like syn vis became available. I was going to upgrade the old plane but thanks to the 2008 financial crisis Diamond offered such competitive pricing on a new one that I could trade in and buy new one with all the fancy features for about the same price as upgrading.
