I want to see the numbers, but it does seem likely good next step for me.

Ok, I created a new DA50 Topic and moved this thread into it. I'm trying to be hopeful.... :)

Who picked out the color scheme for this aircraft? It's not one that jumps out at me as colors that would sell well. Gold with pink and black striping.

I would really like to see the performance numbers for this. If it was the right price point it could be a real Cirrus competitor with the right marketing. Wingspan and fitting in hangars would probably be the only issue at that point.

I agree the colour scheme is very bold but I am sure they will offer a variety of exterior designs. I did notice that the intro video showed a RAM ball mount affixed to the left/front side above the front facing air vent. Would be nice if ball mounts come pre-installed.

Regarding the RAM ball mount you saw on the DA50:

The DA50 cockpit is identical in size to the DA62 twin. All new DA62s delivered this year have a pair of screws built into the left and right "A" pillars (i.e., between front windscreen and front doors) that are perfectly sized for installation of a RAM 1 inch ball mount -- you just remove and then replace the 2 screws on each side with M5 screws that are a little longer. Then you can easily install an iPad Mini or iPhone directly in front of the left and right panel air vents. This works great on my DA62, and should be available on the DA50.

Oem screws for a RAM mount, very nice. I have tried so many mount options in my DA40. I have at least 10 variations of suction and clamp style mounts that I continue to experiment with.
