I'm still waiting for mine. Ordered from AVIALL and the ETA is mid-February. Delivery time seems to be about 4-5 weeks.

Mine just showed up to the mechanic today. I'll be picking it up later this week. This thread was a huge help.

If it weren't for your post we all would have missed this! I called a distributor in Ft. Lauderdale and they also agreed to accommodate me (usually deal with shops). New one on the way and I filled out paperwork for the warranty refund (they said it takes a month or two). Warranty replacement caught in the nick of time thanks to your post! $219.50 for the new gold plated dip stick! Well it should be gold plated at that price!

I got mine after about a two week wait. I dealt with Natalie Porter who was quite lovely to deal with. As no good deed ever goes unpunished, here is her contact info:

Talked to Natalie as well, she understood the requirement sent me what they needed and explained how I could get it moving quickly. Great customer service there at Air Power.

After sending the wrong part (dipstick was too long to fit in the engine  ) I got the right dipstick. My mechanic is handling the paperwork, so I'm very happy. The new one is on top in the picture.

Just got my new dipstick (thanks to Natalie -- arrived within 2-days). Fortunately, the mark I put on my old dipstick to indicate the sweet spot of minimum oil waste indicates close to the same amount of oil on both dipsticks (~ 5 qts.). It looks like more of a problem for anyone filling to a full 8 qts. on the old dipstick.
