I built one similar to Gordsh's unit. I used 3D printed parts to adapt the blower to the tubing and made a louver for the exhaust portion. Unfortunately, I used the larger fan and blew the fuse in the planes dash before I could tell how well it works. I still have to replace the fuse. I tried it in my pickup and it worked good.

If a fan was not needed to cool the cabin on the ground, one could attach a hose from the rear vent(s) to the cooler and eliminate the fan.

But you only need the cooler on the ground.
