After over a week with no new activity, fellow Washingtonian Brock S. broke the silence today and joined the movement by adding his DA40 (N8QQ) to the petition. For others still wishing to add their aircraft, please click HERE

Also, Season's Greeting to Motorfluggruppe Zurich for adding their DA40 (with a CD-155 engine*) to the petition list today. After a quick google search, this flying club has been in existence ever since 1928!

The total aircraft count now stands at 115 and four, out of the 77 listed DA40's, are equipped with this engine*.

And I guess I’m the only one on the list with CD-155 in DA42.

That would be a "yes" Emir, as you are a completely unique breed! So doing the complicated math, that would bring the total to six CD-155's out there buzzing around the globe - all wanting current G1000 software. A warm welcome today to none other than John Crosby himself! So now Emir has some lofty company on the list from the man this major engine upgrade is named after. Any help to recruit the remaining TwinStar's that have undergone a “Crosby Conversion” would be much appreciated.

This is also as good a time as any to thank John Weber, of Continental Motors, for his assistance in spreading the word about this petition list.

Scott, I have to take the credit for onboarding Dr Crosby He promised me he would spread our petition between other owners thad had made his conversion.

In the mean time I’m contacting 10 DA42 and 3 DA40 Europe based owners whose contacts I got from my AME.

I got the permission to extend the list for 8 DA42 with Crosby conversions applied and I’ll add them tomorrow. I’m still waiting for replies of owners mentioned in post above. I don’t expect them to be too fast due to holiday season.
