ADS-B side effects
All the instrument/avionics shop resources are being sucked dry by the folks who have been delaying ADS-B installation to get equipped. And this is on top of other stuff that goes on normally. Today I was finally able to hook up with my guy to get my IFR/Txpdr recert done next month, but it took awhile to get hold of him. At a certain level this is good for his business and I'm happy for him. And it's good for the industry as a whole, really. But it seems every shop is slammed (even more than previously) and you need to get scheduled well in advance. I was starting to think my recert might be late getting done this year.
