Scenic rides
I've donated 2 scenic rides this year to different local organizations. Total $1,350.00 raised. $750.00 last year. AND promoting aviation to audiences in the process.

Is it a pain to do the paperwork with the FSDO, or do they make it reasonably straightforward?

I'd answer that if I had done it the last time. My bad. I'll be checking with the FSDO. This is a slightly different scenario than that defined in 91.146, but presumably can be done the same way. No problems with qualifications, etc.
