DA40 bonding strap and Diamond Support

Last week was sort of a bad news, good news from Diamond.
The bad news was that I received a Factory Campaign notice via email advising me that Diamond had failed to install a lighting system bonding strap on the cowling when my plane was built. The Factory Campaign notice described the omission and how to correct it at my next service.
The good news was that a couple of days later I got a call from Diamond Customer Support to be sure I received the notice, advise me that Diamond would provide the parts and reimburse me for any expense, and then to answer any questions I might have had. They were entirely pleasant and professional. I was pleased and impressed that they called.
