Glad to know it's working again. I tried to download the nav data several times over the weekend and was unable.

The owner’s representatives received a draft from Diamond with pricing for legacy upgrades. We felt the draft raised more questions than it answered and recommended that Diamond not announce it until the program details were complete. It is Diamond’s decision when and what to announce and at this time they have not made any announcements.

The last thing we received was on July 17. We provided our comments as described earlier in this thread. We recently were told they were still working on revisions.

You guys are being played like a fiddle. I would normally say I’m shocked you haven’t figured it out yet, but, I’m not. You have decades of unchanging behavior by Diamond and you still expect something different.

Communicating with Diamond, we don't lose anything except our time which we invest for free, hoping to help ourselves and other fellow aviators. It's very questionable whether DAI has some legal obligation to deliver something (except in warranty cases), so this initiative is useful for them only in improving overall customer relationship and image in public. Will they use this opportunity or not, it's up to them.

What upgrades are you looking for, Tommy? Looks like you have a 2009 DA40 (N591CA).

I actually am glad to have seen how this is playing out (ie: no sense of urgency on DAI part nor timely responses). For my next plane I am seriously considering purchasing new, so if I do go with Diamond, at least I know what I am in for...
