I would be interesting to cross check the list of Diamond owners (by "N" number) to DAN members to see (roughly) what percent of owners are members.

As a non-g1000 owner, I did fill out the survey, but in retrospect I should have answered a couple of the questions differently. I answered from my own perspective: not interested in full glass panel of any type, 73 years old, this is my last airplane, pretty satisfied with my upgrade options, etc,
I should have answered based on what I perceive to be the best interest of Diamond owners (current and future) and the company itself.

Rich, you answered as the survey is intended to be answered -- it's what individual owners are thinking about with respect to their airplanes.

Sure. Just send me a spread sheet with the DAN member info and I'll merge it with the FAA data to see what % are members.

If everyone contacted their maintenance shop and asked them to send an email with the survey link to all Diamond owners they have on file that could be a start.

Your answer is fully valid and that’s the way how anybody should answer. Survey results should reflect real situation and real interest of owners.

Diamond may have done that. I work with several shops and they said they had received a notice. Here was the reply from one of them:
It's about time! They sent out an email to all of their partners last week asking us to tell our customers about it. I forwarded the letter from Scott and the survey link to everyone today.
