Can't access New Posts, etc.

When I select New Posts, I get the following message:
"Sorry but you are not permitted to use the search system."

When I try to edit my signature, I get the following message:
"You are not authorised to define a signature."

I'm a registered user. What's the problem?

Welcome to our forum, Keith, and thanks for showing up a few flaws which we are constantly trying to fix. It seems that the board software has disabled the search function and therefore also the "New Posts" functions to members with a lower rank. Thanks for letting us know. It is fixed and it should work now.

The signature is a feature we allow users with more than 20 posts. (see http://www.diamondaviators.net/forum/fo ... t3221.html)

Nevertheless, you will be able to give all information in your profile, too. (QUICK LINKS / Edit Options / Profile)

Also, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that our forum is free and open for everyone and a few of the initial limitations are needed to keep the forum tidy. I apologize for the inconvenience.
