I've just signed up. Until now I've been an avid reader. I did a lot of research and decided to do my IFR training in a DA40 (about a year ago). After some searching I finally bought a DA40.
I wanted to thank everyone on the forum for the vast amount of knowledge that is contained here - everything from how the thing works, to the various flight paths members fly from the Reports page, to the very funny reading on some threads.

I'm in Southern California. Based out of John Wayne Airport (SNA). I see that there are quite a few from the west coast and SoCal.
