Unread vs New posts

Post by BRS »

I've read many of the "unread posts" but they are still listed. In fact I now have well over 40 pages of "unread posts". How do I clear this out, marking all the posts as read?

What is supposed to be the difference between "unread posts" and "new posts"?

Brock,
You should open the "Board Index page" and click on "Mark Forums read" (top right) to clear unread posts.
I understand that unread post are those you haven't open and new posts those posted recently.

Thanks Jean, I knew there should be a link to mark them but could never find it. Done.
