Re: lost keys help...locksmith or part number
There is a thread on here with key details. I can tell you that the key is a European make and incredibly difficult to find in the US. They key number is "ACS291". I found some on a year ago and bought them. They were not the exact same key as the original has two stops - one on the flat side and one on the ridged side. The one I purchased has only a single stop on the ridged side.
The key still works, but you have to be precise in smoking sure it is straight - if it is linked it won't rotate.

ended up having the locksmith make a new key. it was pretty cool actually. he stuck a blank key in and by turning the key it made marks on the metal. he then filed it by hand and it worked.

What blank key did your locksmith use? I went to two and couldn't find anything suitable for a blank.

Not sure if it applies to the DA20 but I was told by a Home Depot that ACE Hardware can make almost any key because they can custom grind the basic structure of the blank.

rw - that's what HD told me too. And it turns out ACE can do a lot - but they didn't have a suitable blank (the correct grooves and stops). Eventually I got some blanks from Europe and was able to have ACE grind them. It worked out fine except that the blanks I got only had a single side stop and the original keys have a double side stop.

Hi gang,
the blank key is an ILCO D1098B you can find blanks on mrlock.com going for $1.40 each. I bought 5 and will be taking it to a key maker guy and having them matched for $2 a key.

Re: lost keys help...locksmith or part number
A fraction of the price I paid for the "almost" right blank. I ordered half a dozen. Thanks katanajer.

Jerry -- Did you get any info on the blanks for the cabin and fuel tank locks?
