Maybe. It would probably require spikes underneath, though. And there are times it would need to be a pretty big mat.

Incidentally, an ice patch in front of the hangar earlier this winter already took me down just while trying to clear ice from the hangar-wheel rail groove. I'm pretty expert at falling and wasn't injured, but at my age (72 - inconceivable :scream: ) one does think it prudent to take care on this slick stuff. Hence the conservative approach to pulling the plane in and out.
