DA20 jack recommendation
I forgot how we jacked up my Katana last time. I think we may have used an automotive jack and a 2x4. I think the jack plate was smaller than the one my mechanic had. Can someone recommend an inexpensive compatible jack?

Re: DA20 jack recommendation
I purchased the 3TON HYDRAULIC A/C JACK 24-40" from Aircraft Spruce for $308.00 (PN 12-01724) - you can change a tire with only one jack but I ended up purchasing two which make it easier to jack the entire aircraft up without making it look like it was doing a crosswind landing in the hangar. You will need to prop up the tail on a stand (I use a foot stool that fits) and tie down the tail so it does not let the plane tip forward when you jack it up.
