So yes I bought a concord 24-15m battery and it does weigh 1 pound more in the old battery.

What back up battery do you mean?
The battery pack under the right hand side of the instrument panel?

Yes, this post is referring to the emergency battery, the one under the right side of the instrument panel.

This thread IS a bit confusing - some posts are talking about the main ship battery (under the cowling) while others are talking about the small emergency battery pack behind the panel...
