Power Settings for Private Pilot Maneuvers

Post by gsontheimer »

I have set some foolproof power settings for the Piper Arrow for PP-Maeuvers like this:
T/O, Go-around: FULL/2.700
Climb: 25"/2.500
Cruise: 23"/2.300
APPR: 21"/2.300
DESC: 17"/2.700

I enter Steep Spirals, Lazy Eight, Eights on Pylons at 21"/2300 and Chandelles at 25"/2.500

I have never done those in a DA-40. Question:What foolproof settings do you use or recommend? And I guess some leaning is in order with the DA-40, the Arrow I do not lean below 5.000 ft for maneuvers.
