What type of jack will work with our plane besides a standard aircraft jack that you can carry with you easily? In one of the pics it looks like a small yellow jack is somehow being used, but can't figure out where it would lift as our struts are angled and have nothing to lift under. I'd like to figure out how to jack a wheel easily myself, but don't really want to invest in a $300 aircraft jack.

the one from aircraftjacks looks the same as the one on Spruce but cheaper The pic on the thread does look like the Bogert Lil Lifter, but for the same price, the standard aircraft jack looks easier. One more question--do I really need 2 jacks (or 3 as in the maintanence manual), or can you just use 1 without a problem, lifting one wing at a time with a support under the tail if needed? I have read that the tube should be replaced with a new tire. The tube has conformed to the old tire. That would be my practice except my A&P decided to inspect and reuse my old tubes even though I asked him to use new tubes. I had my mains replaced with Goodyear Flight Custom III. So far so good. The consequences of a flat are bad enough that I think the cost savings are not worth taking a chance and reusing the old tubes.

Just a update on the tire and tube price Just had my first flat tire,. (R/H) and purchased the same as the invoice above from the same place. My total cam to $168.00

If you tackle this yourself, can you take pics of how you jack your plane and anything else you think might fill in the gaps on the pictures above. Im gonna do this soon.
