Am Safe Seat Belts?

Post by eHotAir »

What if someone wanted the change the webbing color on the AM Safe seatbelt to match his new seat color? I have a customer doing a new DA40 interior and is wanting to know the cost. I know the belts have to go back to the manufacturer. Does anyone have a clue how much this will be? :) :)

Would it be "legal" to dye the existing web?

I have been dealing with this issue myself as I am in the process of an interior refurb. Gotta get all new seatbelts. Not allowed to dye the seatbelts - either the leather airbag cover or webbing. Dying takes them out of TSO. Cost per seatbelt assembly is about $550.
