No it's easy, you can do it either by covering it when you apply the film on the whole part, then cut it on the strait edge, heat the film, apply inside the handle. Or you can die cut the whole handle hole and make a "patch", almost invisible when the film is not texturized (i.e: carbon), but anyway if you make it with caution, the result is not really visible too.

One last question....so you cover the whole piece, heat the film covering the handle holes and “ push” it down into the holes when it is plyable ..... does it stretch that much ?

Yep correct, it can stretch a lot, it is done for this purpose.
The film is a covering film from Avery Dennison: Supreme wrapping film.

But it is important to:
-Do not stretch the film on this area when you apply the whole piece (then you still have the maximum elongation reserve available).
-When you make this king of deep deformation (called 3D deformation), you have to heat this area after application at 90 °C (take a heat gun and a laser thermometer, heat the area, remove the heat gun, mesure the surface temp, do respect 90°C not less), once the film has been heated to 90°C, its "shape memory" will be modified to this new shape, then it won't move in the time. It means that if you remove the film it will keep this shape and won't tend to become flat as it is on the roll (original shape memory).

This is true for all deep elongation if you cover some part of the plane. I did cover some part of my plane, and only some 3D deformation has to be heaten to 90°C (wingtip for example).
