This is my latest design for the nose wheel fin. More stylish with the same performance. This design will be ready by end of next week.

Any idea if this fits a new NG with the increased MTOW? I believe the strut is a little different.

I am not sure, but I can send you one out free of charge to check. If it fits we can settle up. If not I can make a new mold for that style of aircraft, as long as I know what needs to be modified.

Well, it wasn't "next week", but here are the photos.

Of further note is that we just flew across the U.S. over a four day period and 21.5hrs on the Hobbs. We had no issues with the plane flying out of balance requiring rudder input during level flight; the expected symptom of a corked nose wheel. While we did experience this on 1-2 legs of an earlier cross country flight, the problem has not recurred.

The wheel pant looks identical to the 2002-2003 pant. Check your rudder trim tab. If it is not parallel with the rudder you have a corked wheel when flying. At the factory they bend the tab to force the rudder left or right to keep the pilot from inputting rudder during cruise flight. When the fin is in place you bend to rudder trim tab to straight with the rudder.

I installed Bret's nose fin to my plane and first indications are a 2-3 knot TAS improvement to the best cruise I've previously achieved. I need to make a longer flight once I've resolved the rudder trim setting.
