Hello,
Just a dumb question, but I never noticed that the nose wheel was not centerred, is it an optical impression, or is the nose wheel really not centered?
Here is a picture:
Thank you.
Arnaud.

Take a look at your AMM chapter 6 figure line drawing - slightly offset. Same with my DA-20. Pic has my prop in the line of sight but you can still see the offset.

Yep, off-center by design. I once knew an owner who had his plane for well over a year and never noticed this until it came up in conversation.

One other thing to mention. Recommend never leaving your tow bar hooked and on the ground. Get busy and forget to detach and you might have a prop strike. Maybe a three bladed prop clears but my two-bladed prop does not. An ounce of prevention...

Thank you for your advice, I never leave it on the plane neither but this time I was only working on the plane while the rain was falling = no flight possible.

Re: Nose Wheel centerred
I have noticed as well, sometime i forget when i am pushing the plane back into the hanger and use the nose wheel to center the plane, and then it doesn't fit lol.astaib wrote:Hello,
