New Seats and Interior in the 40!
Just had the seats, arm rests, panels and the side storage boxes all redone. Turned out great. I opted for a dark gray with orange stitching theme.

Looks very nice love the stitching ad color contrast. Congrats. Do you know if there was a weight change with the material?

Southern California. @by_josh_aircraft_interiors. Depends on how much you do. I had all the seats, the side storage pockets, all the headliners, arm rests, etc. redone. About mid $7ks for everything.Tim M wrote:Nice! Have to ask: who, where, how much?

Stunning. Thanks for the recommendation. That's local and I'll stop over to see what other stuff they do. I'm working on trying to get my headsets better squared away.

He does most of his work for Gulfstream (his main job) so doing jobs like this are sort of on the side for him. He's not always the easiest guy to reach but it's worth the effort. Turnaround for my job was three weeks.Colin wrote:Stunning. Thanks for the recommendation. That's local and I'll stop over to see what other stuff they do. Beautiful! I especially like the quilted areas on the seat back and rear portion of the seat pan. Nothing like a little extra airflow in those areas on a hot summer day...

Re: New Seats and Interior in the 40!
One thing I forgot to mention. I had him install lumbar support (the slight bump in the two front seats). I don't know about everyone else but I always felt like the OEM seats didn't have enough back support. These are a vast improvement over the factory seats from a comfort standpoint.

Re: New Seats and Interior in the 40!
I'll have to keep that in mind on our '06 Da-40. The front seats could use some new foam, and adding the lumbar support would be nice. Is this an adjustable support, or just a fixed one?
