Got it Bernie!
Anyway, I have to change one rigid because there is an evolution on it
I'm the only one to change rigid baffle and flexible baffle :):):)
I spoke some month ago to a club that has a DA40, and they changed all the rigid and flexible baffle (expensive operation), but maybe that better had to only change the flexible ones because the rigid one cannot become defective.

Re: CHT again
Other than swapping in the Arizona baffle I don't know of any reason to replace the other rigid baffle parts due to normal wear. I know of no other modifications. I could see damaging a piece due to a negligent maintenance activity, but that'd be it.

Re: CHT again
Actually, when I recently had my engine out, I did notice that the two rear carbon fiber baffles (cylinders 3 & 4) were getting a bit worn in a few areas, from abrasion by cylinder fins, etc. It isn’t something you would notice unless you removed them. I suppose, being composite material, that you could repair them.
I’m sure that new ones would probably cost > several hundred dollars each, being model-specific parts.

Allow me to rephrase: "I suppose, being composite material, that you should repair them."

Re: CHT again
Hi guys,
I finally installed the Arizona Baffle on the Cylinder #1 and I have to admit that it really changes my CHT by far!
I looking forward to test in hot air, but I tested today and the CHT are very lower than before with the same air tem (9°C).
It was just to close this topic, I'm very happy with this change.
