When they moved production to Canada and started with serial numbers at 40.2xx there were obviously various design changes. The panel was completely redone, e.g. And there is no wire dead-ended near the SS. So I figure Diamond made the change and didn't update the diagram. There are various inconsistencies and unclear applicability I'm finding collectively in these diagrams, such as problems with inter-diagram references that don't match up.

I guess I'm having trouble understanding the question. Why should you get the low voltage warning if the ess tie pops?Rich wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 2:25 am I sometimes need to refer to these diagrams for some basic information. Today I was trying to figure out how it is, if the essential bus tie breaker trips (we've discussed that problem interminably), that you don't get a low voltage warning popping up. I still don't have a good answer to that question.

Re: Those wiring diagrams in the AMM
Ideally it would be determined by the voltage of the battery, which is connected to the essential bus and isolated from the alternator and would be discharging. That way you’d get an alert that there was a problem. It’s not a normal thing to monitor the position of the breakers in flight.Davestation wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2020 2:02 amI guess I'm having trouble understanding the question.
