Foam in the wheel fairing

Hello,

I was about to repair (fiber and resin) my fairing on the main gear and I noticed that there is expensive foam inside these fairing.
The fairing are filled in the front and rear area inside each fairing. Is it the same in yours ?
I think that I will remove it (unless it has to remain).
