Steve, you mentioned safety wiring the screws? Is it required to safety wire those machined screws for some reason? Also, would the original fairing screws work? I’m ordering these plates from Dillons today!

I suppose that the original screws would work, but the installation instructions called for safety wiring. The kit comes with the drilled screws.

And does anyone have any good upclose pics of these while installed? Dillons says the holes on the adapters are slightly bigger than the nose wheel towbar openings.

My original screws never come loose since I started (years ago) using 242 thread-lock, years ago.
