Does anyone with a DA40NG with NXi Phase 2 have their panel report a "problem" with their databases?

I suspect this is the missing Checklists but want to confirm that I'm not the only one.

I haven't seen it. FlightCharts shows expired but that's because I didn't purchase it in my Garmin subscription. Nothing about checklists.

The checklist never expires. If there is a checklist file on the bottom MFD card, the CHKLIST button is displayed. No file, no soft button. When you power on the MFD, it will display something about your checklist file on the first line, if you have one.

As far as I know, Diamond has never made checklist files available for NXi aircraft (and some don't support checklists in software anyway), so we can't put the file on the bottom MFD card.

I seem to recall years ago there was a Garmin checklist editor that would let you create/edit (HTML?) checklist files. Does anyone recall or have such a thing?

Sorry, I missed the NXi reference - my bad! My comments apply only to the legacy G1000.

And yes, there is such a checklist editing tool - you used to be able to download it from the Garmin website, but I can't (easily) find it anymore. But I do have a copy of it, if anyone needs it - just PM me. I used it a few years ago to create a much more organized version of the checklist (in my opinion), along with a lot of other useful information. I now have that checklist file loaded in my DA40, although I rarely ever use it for anything...

I deleted all databases and did a fresh install from an SD card, leaving the FS510 card out. This is what my AUX > Databases page shows: "Problems detected with two databases".

What's displayed in your photos is definitely different behavior than in my Phase I NXi aircraft. Your screens clearly show Checklists as a database.

So I'm guessing that your "Missing" Checklists and FliteCharts triggering "Problems detected with 2 databases" is an NXi Phase II feature, not a bug.

I have a 2019 da40ng and I get the same error message. I think you are right that it is the missing check list data base file.

I was just looking to see if a checklist was available for the g1000nxi. I guess not.

For years Diamond Austria had a web page that posted both printed checklists (A4 and A5 PDF files) as well as the equivalent electronic checklist files for each aircraft model. For some reason they took them down, but Diamond may still be maintaining and using them internally.

Perhaps if you contacted Diamond customer support, they might be able to provide you with the missing electronic checklist file for the DA40NG, particularly now that (as demonstrated from Russ' screen postings) NXi Phase II expects to see it.
