My night vision problem was mostly reading text on the G1000.
My eye doctor recommended changing the bifocal prescription from "reading" to "computer" (arm's length). This was a massive improvement.
Now I don't have to worry about getting nose prints on the G1000 screen.

Re: Aeroleds Landing/Taxi Lights
Hi, I am not sure if this is appropriate to ask in this thread, but my question is where to find screws what if I am missing one on my landing/taxi lights. I will greatly appreciate the help. Regards

Re: Aeroleds Landing/Taxi Lights
If you are referencing the flat head screws that affix the acrylic leading edge cover plate, they are standard metric parts:
DIN963A-M4X12-A2
The metal and silicone washers are Diamond-specific parts (meaning they will cost an arm and a leg to source from DAI), which you may or may not be able to find equivalent items for (if your Google skills are good...).
The screws should be easy to find at any of the online metric hardware suppliers.

Re: Aeroleds Landing/Taxi Lights
Hi Steve,
Thanks for the information. Yes indeed I meant the flat head screws joining the acrylic leading edge cover plate.
I wonder if there is a Diamond other 3rd party online shop that one can call and get any part. That will be very helpful.
My DA40 is about 15 years old and show aging effects here and there and I anticipate fixes now and than. So I want to be on top of it.
Regards,
Jehan
