I am finally in production of the new nose wheel fin for the 2004 and newer DA40's. We are running production through the weekend and will be ready to start shipping on monday. Anyone that would like one message me.

How does this attach?

It uses the existing screws in the top of the wheel pant, I believe.

yes it does two screws

The fin is $300 and usually shipping is $25. You remove the two screws on top of your wheel pant and attached the fin with the longer screws provided.

This fastening technique is handy. The fin is easily removable for when you take your plane in for annual and your mechanic doesn't want to know anything about it

I’m very interested in this as I tried the original Bretfin last year but it didn’t fit my 2004 fairing. Bret, please post some pics (or anyone who gets one with a 2004 version nosewheel fairing). It would be great to see how it looks sand how well it sits on the fairing.

I'm also curious how it will work on the fairing of my 2018 NG.

I've had one for over a year and what I can say is it gives me consistency that was not there before. It used to be maybe I'd get 143 KTAS one day and 140 another under the same conditions. Now I will always see 143 under those condition.
