They have but the aircraft is heavier due to heavier engines. I compared the numbers for MTOW. However, the fair comparison would be for the same payload which is not easy to find out due to different versions of -VI and built-in equipment. I’ll try to find the numbers for basic configurations and compare the numbers for e.g. “full fuel and 3 POB” (which is my MTOW 1785 kg).

Emir, use my numbers: 42VI with air conditioning, TKS, 1999 kg/4400 lb MTOW, no radar up front. Empty weight and CG are 3314 lbs and 95.5 inches.
3x 175 lb pax, 76 gallons of fuel, and 72 lbs/7.9 gallons of TKS = 4350 lbs. Max weight charts are the best representation.
SL, ISA, MTOW for ground roll at 50' obstacle:
flaps up - 424 m/1391 ft and 775 m/2545 ft
flaps apch - 375 m/1230 ft and 649 m/2129 ft
Vr: flaps up 76 kias, apch 74 kias
Vx: 77 kias for either configuration
Vy: 92 kias
AFM cruise climb 92 kias, but I usually climb at 5° for smoothness (no pitching). 115 ± 5 kias and 1000 fpm summer at MTOW, or 1200 fpm in winter at mtow
Dramatically better climb gradient on your 42 with 155s. Wish the Austros weren't so heavy--you're 300+ lbs/145 kg lighter! I still go in and out of a 2200 ft strip occasionally (at lighter weight), even in 100° F summer temps. It's a single engine risk profile on takeoff but the plane will get you in and out very well if you fly on speed.

Not so much have in mind that Vy is 86 KIAS and there I have over 1300 FPM. Lowering the nose to 115 KIAS and I'm also around 1100 FPM at MTOW.

Makes sense with significantly lower weight and same power output. I would imagine the aero improvements on the -VI don't come into play nearly as much. What is your plane's empty weight? Seems like awesome value to have a CD 155 converted 42 TDI
