Part of our Around-the-World, next phase brings us to Australia and New Zealand. Just received the disinsection guidelines and forms. In order to spray the correct quantity of poison into our cabin and nose compartment, we need to know the cubic footage (or meterage) of the DA42. Couldn't find this anywhere in the AFM or elsewhere.
Any of you have those data? And our friends down under, any experience with disinsecting our DA42NG without fainting? ;-)

According to https://www.aopa.org/news-and-media/all ... -twin-star the cabin is 8 ft 6 in x 3 ft 10 in x 3 ft 2.5 in. I think approx. 70 cuft is sufficiently accurate.

Danke Robert! Those measures of height and width must be at the widest point, between front&back seats. But cabin slims considerably towards back. Would discount it to 50cu.ft, but again, no exact measure available? And nose?

Hard to find data. This webpage https://www.aviationneeds.com/aircraft/ ... twin-star/ says that the baggage capacity is 57 Cubic Feet which seems to include rear and nose. The cabin volume is not specified there. So probably it amounts to 100 cu ft.
Is it really that accurate with this poison?
