Pitot heat fail

Had Pitot Fail CAS message pop up last week and haven't had much luck finding a solution. Checked the relay and thermostatic switches on top of of the pitot heat mount, but power seems to be making it to the pitot tube. It won't warm up and only a little draw is noticed from stall heat when the switch is engaged.

Anyone know of any other areas to look into?

The price for a replacement pitot tube is... (drumroll)..... $3700-4200! Hoping I can at least OH, or see if there's anything within the pitot tube to replace.

We never use the thing unless it's an IMC/icing (rare in California lately)--maybe 100 hours with heat on?. Had the plane now for 3 years/850 hours.
