Re: Stick limiter replacement
Replacing the old assembly with the new one is not difficult - no airframe modification required, it’s just that the whole assembly itself is super expensive. The new actuators are a little different in mounting so you have to buy a couple of the small pieces from the new version to modify your old assembly to look like the new one before mounting the new actuator. Not terribly difficult that I remember and certainly a lot cheaper If you have the patience. I used to have several of them that I would mix and match parts between to come up with one good one.

Re: Stick limiter replacement
I purchased the part from the manufacturer that is Varimax. The cost for the part plus a new extra motor and shipping was $350.00 to New Jersey. One week shipping time.

Re: Stick limiter replacement
Varimax no longer make this model ...
Only option is the expensive replacement of the whole assembly.

Re: Stick limiter replacement
Varimax still sells replacement motors, I just ordered one today.
You need to ask for the motor only, not the whole assembly which is no longer produced.
Best,
Salim
