Has anyone installed sun visors in your DA 42. How expensive were the parts and how difficult was the installation.
Thank you

Re: SUN VISORS
I installed Jet Shades in my DA40NG which includes a shade across the front. It doesn't flip up and down like a visor. I at first thought it was restrictive, but after flying with I realized I never looked up there anyway.

Re: SUN VISORS
I've had Diamond's kit installed on one DA42, and will soon have another 42 upgraded with it. The shades are invaluable on bright days.
Installation takes a couple days, involves slight reduction of canopy max opening angle (don't ask me why) and bonding time of the ceiling that holds the shades. Parts about 2.5K, plus some 6 hrs labor.
