Hello fellow diamond fliers.
My name is Mark, I live in The Netherlands (PPL/IR) and I just registered as I started flying a wonderful DA40NG (Austro Engine) this year. I am able to rent this very new airframe from a private owner, and I hope to do some nice cross country flights with it, mainly together with the family or a flying buddy. We already took her from The Netherlands to Germany and even into Poland. I fly a mix of VFR and IFR, more of the latter then the former and I enjoy it immensely. I also fly with a flying club on their diesel C172 G1000. The C172 also fits my mission quite well, but the M&B of the C172 makes it a 2 seater for most flights and that's where the DA40 makes a difference. I enjoy writing up a flight report or two and reading others. For the future, I would love to fly out from Florida to the Bahamas one day, and do some Island Hopping. Bucketlist Item!
