The DA62.292 has been delivered. August 15th 2024. At the beginning of August, the aircraft was ready. We flew to Wienerneustadt to evaluate the aircraft. What surprised us, was that the entire aircraft was minitively checked for damage or scatches. There were obviously a few remarks. These were subsequently improved.
Two weeks later we had an appointment for pickup. The aircraft was ready, but still had to be retrieved from the hangar. After an hour we were able to leave. The weather was very bad. Flight from LOAN to EDLN (home base) was 2:30 hours. We spent 90% of the flight, flying only in IMC, 43 kts wind from left. The aircraft could do this just fine. Great how the aircraft behaves in bad weather conditions.
Our original airplane a 2018 DA62 (DIJJJ, TT 950 hours, NDH) is still for sale.
There are a few minor Garmin updates over our old aircraft that we like.
Also, the combination of the dark blue paint combined with the brown leather interior is very nice.

Is your plane affected by MSB-E4-043? Are you required to have borescope inspections of your pistons?

Out of curiosity, why did you buy the same plane?
