Unless someone has has done it before, it usually takes several hours to install each one assuming everything goes smoothly. It sure seems like a bad design given the frequency at which this part (PN: D41-5211-60-91) fails and that is such a pain to replace. The part itself from Diamond is about $160 + shipping.ZAV wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2024 7:52 pm My front canopy door alarm went off during takeoff a few months ago causing an aborted takeoff. I’ve been watching it since and noticed the latch feels lose and seems to want to open. I tried your “push on the pin” test today and I can easily push the pin in and cause the latch to open in my 2011 XLS. How hard are the gas springs to replace?
