G1000 NXi Phase III and Phase IV

Like many DA62 users Im wondering if anyone has up to date information when Diamond will release updated avionics for the DA62 g1000 such as visual approaches and surface watch etc, I know it’s going on years…

i have read the other comments from some months back saying the weather radar has been supported but it’s the other features i am enquiring about.

Nothing. They will probably just never do it.

Also, phase 3 didn’t actually include the 8000 weather update - I just updated mine a month or so ago with the p3 release

Who did your update? I've been told conflicting info. A shop told me they're doing the update, but another shop has told me it's not actually certified and some shops are unlocking features that aren't truly certified. They claim if there is an accident this can come back to be an issue and an excuse for the insurance company to refuse to pay.

There's no new features.
