Follow up- the Zojirushi bottle does *not* fit because of the lip at the bottom. It is so close, but the lip prevents it from sliding in. Maybe they added the lip in a newer version?

The Thermos does work if you push it in the cup holder. It’s 16oz which is not a ton, but it does keep cold. Using that for the foreseeable future.

I recently purchased the following Zojirushi bottle which fits perfectly: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GKM9Q3V. Unlike other designs this one doesn't have a lip at the bottom.

It keeps liquids cold or hot for hours and the opening is large enough to add ice. It's also 20 oz which is nice to find in a slim design.

My only complaint about the bottle is that I'd prefer a flip-type lid as opposed to screwing the top off and on in flight. Might be able to purchase one separately. Overall, I'm happy with it and plan to purchase another for the right seat.

Anyone have an updated Amazon link for a Zojirushi mug that will work? The one Benjamin linked unfortunately is not showing available to me. I've been burned once with a bottle that didn't fit, so would like to avoid a second return!

In my 2019 da40 NG there are no drink holders. Just soft pouches. I purchased a Seasucker suction cup drink holder from etrailers. Will hold just about anything. $89 but seasucker suction cups are worth it. Sticks to the canopy. I just have to remember to remove before opening. I made one with a gimble that worked ok but the suction mount sucked. Maybe I’ll combine them.

Just bought the drink holder (16oz) recommended by Mayhem Echoes.
I have a 2005 and have been searching for a container to fit the drink holder in that model.
Exactly what I wanted and fits perfectly.
Thanks

I just bought one of these. Fits reasonably well in my 2018 DA42. Thanks!
