Hello,
Can someone tell me what is the white trace on the exhaust pipe of my plane?
I heard that it is when you run too much LOP.
Thanks!

Arnaud:
The white deposit is from the lead in the fuel. If you run too rich or are burning oil you will see black soot, not a white deposit. My airplane's exhaust stack looks identical to yours. In this case a white deposit is a GOOD thing.
