I beg to differ. Some of us actually OWN Diamonds and routinely ferry, deliver, and train new owners in their Diamond aircraft.Lance Murray wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 4:56 pm Don't bother with a Broker. They don't know these airplanes.

Re: Need a broker to sell my DA40
You would be the rarity Dave. The majority of brokers seemed to think all things Diamond are "katanas" with the Rotax engine. I bet a month doesn't go by when someone at the airport is surprised that I have 4 seats and a Lycoming.
An argument for using a broker: When selling one of my 2007 DA40XL I found it challenging to field all the stupid questions like why is it so expensive (lowest price XL on the market) and why would they want or care about things like an autopilot, TAWS-B, Active Traffic, constant speed prop, etc. Unfortunately brokers calling and trying to get the listing were equally as clueless as the uninformed low time pilots. Diamond's marketing is terrible compared to Cirrus.

I bought my 2003 DA40 through AKC Aviation in Lake in the Hills, IL, just NW of Chicago. They were amazing to work with. Ask for Kent Seaver.
