I like the second place winner. I would use some of those ideas on the paint scheme for my DA62. Which would also borrow from Lindbergh-Morrow's seaplane that went north to the Orient.

I actually prefer the 2nd place winner as well as the first place is a but too busy. I would have to replace one of the colours with orange and keep the black or dark gray.

Those pics are of the DA50 aircraft being used for certification testing.
Diamond just posted via FaceBook that they'll be announcing the DA50 specs next week (presumably performance, pricing, options, etc.). Before the event was cancelled, they were originally going to announce earlier at Aero Friedrichshafen.
